What is the minimum order?
Our minimum for full-service catering is 50 people. We can also provide a delivery and drop off service for an additional fee for party pans and party packages.
When should I place my order?
We take orders on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend at least one week’s notice for deliveries and two or more weeks for a full-service event. During the month of December we do book up quickly, so we recommend as much notice as possible.
How do I place an order?
The best way is to send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at (925) 621-8740 to leave your contact information, (name and phone number) and one of our catering planners will contact you.
Does Strizzi’s include paper goods?
Yes, when ordering from our full-service catering menu, paper and plastic goods are complimentary. They are also complimentary when ordering Party Pans and Party Pan Packages for either delivery or pick-up.
For a full service event, what do I need to provide?
You will need to supply at least two six-foot tables plus linens and adequate space to set-up and store our equipment. You will need to provide your own tables and chairs for your guests as we do not provide any of those as rentals. Should you need the services of a rental supply company we are happy to recommend someone to you.
When is my final count is needed?
We will need your final guaranteed count at least one week prior to your event. Should you need to increase your guest count you may do so up to three days prior to your event.
Is there any added gratuity?
We do not add any gratuity to our full-service catered events. We leave that up to the discretion of you…our guest. We do however add an event fee to cover the cost of our equipment, administration and delivery.
How many servers will work my catered event?
We typically staff one server per 75 people depending on the type of event. You may request more staff at an additional cost if desired.
How long do I have my server for?
Your server will typically arrive about one hour prior to your service time and will maintain the buffet for up to two hours.
How long do you leave the buffet line open for?
We typically can have the buffet line open for up to two hours. After that your server(s) will pack up any leftover food for your guests.
Where are your locations, and which one is catering my event?
We have 7 restaurants located throughout the East Bay. While we have our main catering kitchen located in Pleasanton, we may assign the catering out of our location closest to your event.
Do you provide China on full-service caterings?
We do not provide china, glassware or linens. You are more than welcome to supply your own and we are happy to refer you to a rental company should you need one. There is an additional labor fee if your event requires china & glassware service.
Does the food travel and stay warm?
We take special care in the preparation and packaging of all of our food to ensure that it is hot and ready to eat when it is served. We use custom made boxes that naturally insulates our products in order to properly maintain temperature.
How does the food arrive?
Depending on the item, our food will come in aluminum pans, black plastic platters or black plastic bowls. Our aluminum pans will fit into standard chafing dishes.
Do you require a deposit?
Your event may require a deposit. Our catering planner will work with you on this in order to secure your event date on our calendar.
Do your servers pass appetizers?
While our servers do not pass any food, we can set-up a separate appetizer table (provided by you) for your guests to serve themselves.
Do you provide beverages?
For an additional charge we can provide assorted soft drinks and bottled water on deliveries. For a full-service event we can also provide lemonade, iced tea and coffee for an additional charge.
What is your cancellation policy?
Every event is unique. Your event may require a deposit and there may also be a cancellation fee.
